Expanding its V series of phones, Vivo launched Vivo V17 smartphone in India today. The smartphone was launched at an event in New Delhi. The key feature of the smartphone are claimed to be its camera abilities. The handset boasts of 48MP quad camera and 32MP selfie camera with what Vivo calls ‘Super Night Mode’.Vivo V17: Price and availabilityVivo V17 is priced at Rs 22,990 and is up for pre-orders starting today. Bank offers include 5% cashback on HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and IDFC Bank. Reliance Jio users can avail benefits worth Rs 12,000 on the handset’s purchase. Vivo V17: Specs Vivo V17 comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor and runs on FunTouch OS 9.2 based on Android Pie operating system. The smartphone offers 6.44-inch Super AMOLED iView display with 91.38% screen-to-body ratio and 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone has a pucnh-hole camera cutout at the top-right of the screen. Vivo V17 packs 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The handset boasts of quad camera setup at the back. This consists of 48MP main sensor, 8MP Super wide-angle camera of 120 degree field view, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP Super macro lens for capturing pictures at 4cm. At the front, the Vivo V17 boasts of 32MP selfie camera. Some of the features available are Bokeh mode, AI Portrait lighting and Ultra-Stable mode for video recording. The Vivo V17 houses a 4,500mAh battery claimed to deliver 16.8 hours of video playback time and more than 4 days of music playtime. It comes with 18W fast charging out-of the-box. The phone offers triple-card slot with dedicated microSD card slot to expand the storage. Midnight Ocean and Glacier Ice are the colour options available.
